No Surprises Insurance Act Disclosure

At CLTatum & Associates Behavioral Healthcare, we are committed to providing our clients with transparent and high-quality care. As part of this commitment, we want to make you aware of important patient protections under the federal No Surprises Act.

The No Surprises Act is a new law that went into effect on January 1, 2022. This law protects patients from surprise medical bills when receiving emergency care or certain non-emergency care from out-of-network providers at in-network facilities.

Under this law, your health plan cannot charge you more than your in-network cost-sharing amount for these services. This means you will only be responsible for paying your deductible, copayment, or coinsurance, just as you would if you were receiving care from an in-network provider.

At CLTatum & Associates Behavioral Healthcare, we do not anticipate that the No Surprises Act will significantly impact the services we provide, as we strive to be in-network with all major insurance carriers. However, we want to make you aware of this law and your rights as a patient.

If you have any questions or concerns about the No Surprises Act and how it may apply to the services you receive from our agency, please do not hesitate to speak with our billing or patient services team. admin@cltatumassociatesbh.com 623-876-2029. We are here to ensure you receive the care you need without unexpected financial burdens.

Thank you for choosing CLTatum & Associates Behavioral Healthcare for your mental health and wellness needs.
